Is “covenant” a biblical term? Is covenant theology taught in the Bible? In the Reformed tradition, covenant theology is considered as the “theological framework” of the entire Scriptures—wherein God’s covenant throughout human history is the foundation of his relationship with his people.
On October 26, 2019, we invited Rev. Dr. Dennis Johnson (Professor Emeritus, Westminster Seminary California, and Associate Pastor, New Life Presbyterian Church, California) for a Reformation conference on Covenant Theology. In this 1-day event, Dr. Johnson guided us on how God unfolded and fulfilled his covenant through the course of time in the Bible. That’s from Adam until Jesus Christ.
