Our 9th Year Anniversary

Today marks the 9th year anniversary of our church ZCRC(Imus). Looking back to all those years that passed, we have seen how this local gathering of reformed believers faced numerous challenges. We shared these tribulations and together experienced particular sufferings from sickness and losses. And yet despite of all these, we know God continues to demostrate his faithfulness to us. He leads us lovingly towards maturity. He disciplines us with his Word and sanctify us with his Spirit. Truly, we all have grown in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our theme for this year’s anniversary is Christians Living as Pilgrims in Exile Between Two Ages. For the past 6 months, we have been suffering a pandemic that caused grief and death globally. At the same time, the churches around the world were severely affected by the restrictions of physical gathering. Indeed, without the light of the gospel and hope of the world to come, this world will plunge itself to fear and despair. Which is why as Christians, we continue to preach the gospel of the saving work of our Lord Jesus Christ and we encourage everyone with the message of reconciliation God brings towards all sinners in this world. As Pilgrims in exile, we are called to confess the truth that brings hope to those who puts their trust in the Lord.

This morning as a church we celebrate the goodness and greatness of God in our lives. Let us rejoice and praise Him for his wonderous works. May the Lord continue to bless his people with his grace and peace. Amen.
